Burlington Gardens, Mayfair

THE DEVELOPMENT

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Burlington Gardens is undergoing extensive renovation behind a large-scale scaffold structure spanning three elevations. The prominent site demanded a visual solution that maintained the building’s prestige throughout the construction period. The scaffold reached over 16 metres in height, with lower-level structural towers clad in site hoarding up to six metres tall.

THE BRIEF

Embrace Building Wraps was appointed to deliver a complete print and installation solution to visually enhance the site during the client’s redevelopment. The brief called for a fully branded scaffold wrap, elegant ground-level hoarding, and impactful elements that would present a premium building wrap with cohesive appearance both day and night—without revealing the construction works behind.

THE SOLUTION

Embrace produced and installed a high-resolution digitally printed scaffold wrap that enveloped all three elevations of the building. The design featured a parchment background with an iconic Vitruvian figure, in line with the client’s branding.

Each elevation incorporated a centrally placed 2.4m² 3D logo, back-illuminated with energy-efficient LED lighting. Above and below the main wrap, moulded 3D cornices with integrated lighting created an architectural flourish and provided a warm, ambient glow at dusk.

At street level, the scaffold support towers were wrapped in six-metre-high plywood hoarding dressed in HD printed aluminium composite panels. This seamless extension of the upper wrap ensured visual continuity across the entire installation. The result was a bold, elegant and professional solution that enhanced the streetscape while maintaining site security and discretion.
