Embrace Building Wraps cover the on-site accommodation near Moorgate

The Embrace team have completed the installation of a printed cabin wrap at 20-22 Ropemaker Street in Moorgate London. Construction is underway at the location of 22 Ropemaker, a new 450,000 ft2 development including commercial office space, retail and external terraces over 25 storeys.

The project to wrap the on-site accommodation cabins was fully managed by Embrace, covering off structural calculations for the wrap & frame, traffic management & MEWPs (mobile elevated work platforms) on site over two consecutive weekends.

To achieve the brief of covering the top two tiers of the cabins our experts planned an installed an offset frame, co-ordinated the creative design of the wrap and printed the giant 29m wide and 6m high wrap.

Greg Forster, Managing Director at Embrace Building Wraps said:

Our role can be a bit like herding cats on a project of this nature as we are dealing directly with a long chain of interested parties. We liaised with the client and creative agency for the messaging and brand vision, then worked closely with the main contractor for all the onsite activity, interfacing with the cabin supplier. Their temporary works engineers and our engineers worked closely to ensure structural calculations work in harmony. We engaged directly with the local council on road closures and traffic management plans, and we also managed all MEWP suppliers.

After physically installing the frame and printing the banner itself Embrace came back a week later and installed the printed cabin wrap.

Greg continues:

The good news is that we are expert cat herders with a dedicated and experienced operations team that take all of this in their stride, making the whole process smooth and simple for our client. The new printed cabin wrap takes visual ownership of the area and was installed exactly when we said it would be!
