Digitally printed wrap installed for the Beaumont Hotel

Embrace Building Wraps have installed a 154 square metre PVC-free cabin wrap for The Beaumont Hotel in Mayfair. The hotel had been temporarily closed whilst refurbishments take place, with the welfare cabins and site offices remaining in-situ for a period after the reopening whilst further works continue.

The digitally printed wrap was instructed to encapsulate and disguise the site accommodation cabins whilst development works are carried out on site. This would serve to minimise disruption and preserve the visual aesthetic of the location, not only for their highly valued guests but also those of their five-star luxury hotels neighbours on Providence Court.

By using a printed cabin wrap the on-site accommodation could be transformed to present subtle branding and visuals of how the grand yet intimate hotel will look from various viewpoints once the works are complete including CGI mock-ups. In total the wrap measures 22 metres wide and 7 metres high with two side returns covering three elevations with a creative design that carries through the art deco style of the hotel.

The entire project was fully managed end-to-end and delivered by the Embrace team. This includes the artwork design creative for the wrap, assistance with the planning application to display the advertisement, calculating wind loadings, installation of the bespoke supporting offset frame and ultimately the final banner install. The full lifecycle project also includes ongoing maintenance and ultimately the removal service at the cessation of display in 2023.

Our unique eco-friendly PVC-free banner substrate was agreed for the project which has enabled our client to be able to demonstrate eco savings of 75.5 kg of CO2 equivalents, 1,679 litres of water and 29.6 kg of oil equivalents compared to using a traditional PVC-based substrate.

Greg Forster, Managing Director at Embrace Building Wraps, said:

We are finding more and more of our clients are asking us for a complete solution from creative conception right through to project delivery. This is not problem for us as we have all of the required skill sets in place to be able to offer the complete package. Our clients are then able to focus on the build element of their development or refurbishment projects, safe in the knowledge that we, quite literally, have everything covered.

Greg continues:

The cherry on the top of the cake is the use of our PVC-free products and how we repurpose our client’s wraps at cessation of the display.
